Write for the world a book of sweet verse,
through all the long years to treasure...
compose the writings ~ never in haste,
or you will surely repent at your leisure.

A leather-bound book of poems and prose
with words that appeal to the masses,
written for dreamers and tender of heart,
and today's young lads and young lasses.

Tell of those beautiful 'salad' days
the history of music and love,
wishing wells and sweet fairy-tales
and the angels from heaven above.

As you pen all your thoughts onto paper
displaying great feeling and tact,
offend no man~ and hurt no man
for there can be 'no turning back'.
