am afraid to look
into the mirror.
afraid to see the sad lines
drawn across my face.

scared to see my sad droppy eyes
and my tightly closed unsmiling lips.
afraid to see what the whole world sees
when they look
at me.

i think of you.
whilst i eat.
whilst i watch tv.
whilst i bath.
whilst i walk.
whilst i ride in the bus.
whilst i see passing people and cars.

i think of you so much that
that i begin to wonder if i want you
anymore.
im so sad, im so sad, im so sad
im so blue.
just need a hug, have somebody hold me tight
and tell me all is going to be ok.
but am alone, my heart is bleeding,
im so cold,
hold me,
press me against you and make me feel
humane.
im so cold.
