Merry Christmas...Noel! Noel!

I am sitting by the Christmas tree
...Savoring...

Holiday time to myself

The holidays can steal our time away, if we're not careful
I love to watch old and seasonal movies
I love to read
And apparently write to friends and compose poems
Any way to not be a consumer of "spoon feed" media
...ya know what I mean?

Really want to make a point to choose wisely
What I share my time with
Time's consumed so easily it seems
Tonight...all the hustle and bustle has settled
I find pure enjoyment in all the little ornaments
Peace, ...Joy, ... Love, ...
So, it seems that ornaments with words are endearing to me
They're speaking out while beaming
In one word, only, with so much meaning packed in
How does it do that? Word?
And here we are, using many words...what?
Yet, some...a word...are So confident in itself
That it says 4 letters of the alphabet and then,
Suddenly stops...thinking, ...hmm? ...okay!
In humility and pride, there! I am enough!
To be a word, and feel that sense, that confidence
It's to be wrapped in a heavenly grace
That is nothing less than a miracle
Power in, ah, word!
Haha! Okay there's my poem.
Done.
Like the word...
Hopefully poems confidence will come in the morning

Many a home I send Hope
Hope that today would be one of peace and good will to all men
And to those without homes,
I pray you, Comfort
