Nohemi Poem by Rafael Cazares

Nohemi

When I think of
Me & You
It is a hopeless case of love
And I don't know what to do

You've been
Through my pangs of despair
Though who is prophetic
Enough to say
What will be left of us
By thee end of day.

Twas' a summer ago,
A year now,
That you decided let me go,
For an empty, hollow pride

And many enamoring faces
that smiled my ways
Was nothing compared
To the serenity
I felt when together we layed

So kiss me now,
And again,
Then once more;
For the heart requires comfort if our minds can be sure.
