Rafael Cazares Poems

If only you knew,
the secret I had for you.
I've kept it safe, secured tightly to my bosom.
If only you knew,
...

I'm broken on your shoulder
Nothing matters
I lay upon it to only find myself
Where my misdeeds and storms don't follow
...

I invite you to a humble abode
where the moonlight seems to always be;
hiding from the sun.
...

Is what the clock suggests,
engines remonstrating their tiny roars,
Fresh air reaffirming its presence between
the crevices of my fingers and toes,
...

Alone in thought
Like the fixed, relentless movements
Of a robot.
...

The Fairest maiden
of them all;
she bestows Poets their poems,
Dreamers their dreams,
...

Known as a devilish child,
With a devilish grin;
The argument follows mild:
Aren't we born through
...

The gentle cries of my mind
Result from my ineptness to the
Pulse of the Living.
...

How I loathe what I am!
If these hostile emotions continue,
I'm afraid I'll be devoured in it's next meal.
So on the caps of my knees, I beg:
...

Do what you say you do,
It's what you do
When you say-
It's what you do
...

Sometimes
I dream of her.
Sometimes it's infuriating,
other times it's my heart longing,
...

Walking through days of life
Knowing yet not knowing where it leads
Just walking by and
Observing
...

Kiss me the way the Sun's rays
Kiss the Earth
Reach for me the way the Ocean
Stretches for Land
...

Id like to tell you it was a fib and that happiness would never be a former state.
No matter how many times my arms were open
The faces disagreed.
How many days have died and have been left behind?
...

Sweet, sweet melodies.
Smooth like slithering dolphins dipping in and out of the crystal blue.
The accord of the harmonies is
breathing to life exotic trees with perfumes of lemons, oranges, and thousands of colorful breezes.
...

'The mind is imprinted with catchy melodies, distraught images, and all-too-human desires, ' voiced the Spirit.
'How to free yourself you say?
Well, the consciousness flow
Begins when you let go.
...

The marvel of time,
an invisible force, withholding
immense waters,
inhabiting and sustaining
...

The Nightwalker
Ruler of the Night
Proposes his freedom Rights
to the depths of the Abyss surrounded by starlight
...

There at the summit of the rectangular, upright building,
was a room.
No one knew of the secrets it continued to
bloom.
...

I am here,
then eventually,
unconsciously,
I dissappear.

If Only You Knew

If only you knew,
the secret I had for you.
I've kept it safe, secured tightly to my bosom.
If only you knew,
Those nights, it'd jump & prance trying to find the right dance
that would liberate it from its skeletal cage.
If you knew,
how I always told myself, 'Never is the right time'.
If you noticed the miniature moments our eyes evenly remained,
Nothing existed outside your frame.
Then Understand, every time our eyes meet,
remain truthful to yourself.
