Nomadic Heart Swimming In Love's Tears Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Nomadic Heart Swimming In Love's Tears

Still going on and on
Breaking my own heart
With memories
So close but far away
I cannot fathom what if
Because what was
Never made its own way

I love and love so much
More than I ever have before
But emptiness
It grows within the barren time
And beauty
Will never come home

I want to truly believe
I have to truly believe
That dreams come true
Rather than them dangling
Beyond the furthest reaches of my heart

Anything I could do
I would definitely surely do

If it meant something special
At least one sacred moment with you

Take me for who I am
I know I am nothing like them
It's a hard bargain life
To live in strife
But what are we really supposed to do?

I love you
For your all and everything

To the best to the worst
Everything about you

You are the most beautiful
Upon these dreams views

Still going on
Breaking my own heart
Somehow it is stronger
Than it has ever been before

These dreams
They will never expire
As long as I have room
In these lungs to breathe

This heart it beats
All for you

This mind
It runs a dead end
Gauntlet to you

What could I ever say?
What could I ever do?
To prove myself to you

Goodbye for now
Maybe forever
Perhaps time will embrace these wounds

I have fallen so hard
In a heart's disregard
Yet I find myself
Being love's fool

Still going and going
I go
Hello, may you take me in this form?

I crawl and scratch
To love's rapture
Where I would let this heart be captured
And I could ever do
Is love only you

Love, I dearly miss you
The sacredness, the embrace
All of your truest of truths
May love become a seeker upon this refuge?

Goodbye for now
Till hello
But to know this exists
What should I do?

All I want is to be in love with you
All I am is a nomadic heart
Swimming in love's thickest of tears

I am dearly in love with you
So what do you want me to do?
