Non-Existence Poem by Jeffrey Morneau

Non-Existence

No Chance, this time of mine has passed. Clashed;
With Dreams now in the back of my mind:
Blind, as fate is out of my own clinching hands.
Expected to fight, with tears as my fuel..For What? For Who?
Both body and mind breaking.
If I could have seen that each breath is worth taking;
My choices would change..
Those dreams I would seek, my heart it would speak.
To feel that fear at the end means nothing, for I've lived my whole life in it.
I am numb, as blood is blue.
This isnt what I foresaw for myself,
Is it the world that is cruel or is it me.
