Non-Fiction Poem by Daniel I Brown

Non-Fiction

Rating: 5.0

So oddly now I look at you
And everything we were…
A story setup up like a midnights dream
Unlimited endless possibilities,
But we seemed to look forward while moving back,
Was I to blame?
I think it's shared
Our sentiments and awkward stares…
Long nights and longer fights,
Drifting in a lonely light,
Discontent and full of groans,
Left so awkward…
All alone
