They said there'll be an end to Injustice
They said there'll be peace as well
But instead they normalised injustice…
A veil of tears through the darkest valley

I remember a promise of a new dawn
A winter's tale to diminish the dark
Hope forever on the scaffold
Injustice forever on its Throne

Evil hearts full of falsehood and Lies
They sold the Nation, those itchy ears,
Precisely what they wanted to Hear…lies
Reassuring Lies, no inconvenient truths

They sold them regurgitated lies, smooth paths
No problems once they get ‘Brexit done'
Bigger the fairy story, wider the audience
Twenty-four hours of rolling lies reinforced

Betrayal the currency of the counterfeit
They said there'll be an end to Injustice
They said there'll be peace as well
But instead they normalised injustice

Sanity Clause signed, sealed, delivered
Softminded conformity rises has truth falls
Millions will awake, far too late, to save justice
Has they yawn in the last light of dawn

Then, they see through his disguise, a key will turn
The door will lock, Hope extinguished,
Freedom the price millions will pay
He sold them ‘normalised injustice' so I say…
