Northern Star Poem by Nina gáspari

Northern Star

Rating: 5.0

Who would´ve thought
I would Love it this much
Who would´ve thought
It could hurt like this
At the bitter end of such
A delusional bliss
Knowing it´s already gone,
Knowing it´s still here
Making efforts to be reasonable
Cover my heart, and still be sincere
Making sketches of plans for tomorrow
Scratching out yesterday´s sorrows
So hard to still wear a smile
Wanting to run away
So hard to hold on for a little while
Who would´ve thought
I would come this far
Who´s ever found
Their northern star
