Not A Simple Toy Poem by Ruth Verch

Not A Simple Toy

I am not a simple toy. Don't tug on my heart strings. What could I have possibly done to be rejected so completly? With a thick sigh, I admit to my perplextion. I expierenced so much warmth from you. I really thought we could be happy together. My perceptions of your actions must surly be askew. I'm beating myself up over this. I wanted so much to let myself go forward with you. Now my vision blurred, I resign any prier position I feel I might've been entitled to.
