Not All Things Are Fair Poem by Francis Duggan

Not All Things Are Fair

'Tis sad to think that somebody's loss can be somebody's gain
That some financially prosper on others financial pain
And that many grow poorer for every new millionaire
In human society not all things are fair
'Tis true money can be your ticket to renown
But if in your climb to success you do knock others down
Then karma is watching the one to whom you pay
For your every transgression on some future day
Treat others as you would like them to treat you
For what you do unto them to your own self you do
For what goes around comes around always seems true
And the karma we'll receive is what we are due
And that applies to you as well as to me
And to everyone of the human family.
