Not Alone Poem by Jennie Nguyen

Not Alone

Alone
All alone
On an empty rugged pier
She stood and gazed at the ocean
Lost, confused, and full of fear
Tears ran down her pale cheeks
So empty inside, she felt so weak
Misleading thoughts filled in her mind
Should she jump? Or just run and hide?
Where is everybody? Does anyone care?
She screamed so loud but no one there
A battle she knew she cannot fight
Ending the life was the only thing on her mind
Then stood by her an angel with wings
Told her turn around and do the right thing
She walked away with a smile on her face
Deep inside she knew, her sorrows had went away
Alone
No, she not alone
