Not Enough Channels Poem by John W. McEwers

Not Enough Channels

I understand that when
you own the cable TV,
you can watch Law and Order
pretty much constantly,
and HBO and Showtime
at times show shows to see,
and I understand that even
local channels aren't blurry.
But I'm too poor, and can't afford
such a fine luxury,
but you wouldn't know, since you watch your shows
over in gay Paris.
