Not even a few millimeters away,
Not even a split second distant is your light.
The time that's gone is not cut from the stream,
But flows within the current of all time.
My soul must pass through layers deep and vast
To reach you in this ceaseless time's embrace.
I've journeyed on, deprived of my own font,
Unaware of my genesis and source,
Unable to touch memories of my start.
Yet still my soul's deep intellect recalls
The warmth of your divine, eternal light.
As if a father's love, so kind and close,
So tender, caring, holding me as son.
