Chilling wind is kissing my skin
As I stand waiting for the rain
My eyes are fixed in a gaze upon nothing
I feel a dropp on my cheek
Then realize its just tears
But they are not for you
A crack of thunder breaks the silence
Sprinkles here and there,
Soon turns into a steady, rushing flow
The rain mixes with the tears
As it streams down my body
Washing away my pain and fears
I shiver as I feel the cold as if for the first time
I beg you not to forget me,
Please, remember me all your life
Never forget what you could have had
The chilling wind kisses my skin
As I dance with the rain as it mixes with my tears
But they are not for you
