Not Just Any Sunset Poem by Adrienne Gresham

Not Just Any Sunset

Sitting on the back porch watching the sunset
Sipping on a bud light
thought I heard a jet
The object overshadowed the house
I jumped off the porch and down on the ground
It was big, it was green and it was round
I was pulled up into the ship
I was offered some cheese and a little nip
party pooper is what I was called
I was pushed out and thought I would fall
I opened my eyes and I was standing tall
