Not Me Anyway Poem by Francis Duggan

Not Me Anyway

Rating: 5.0

They are a rare breed the perfect human kind
Even in most good people flaws not hard to find
For imperfection is rife in the Human World of today
But then who wants to be perfect not me anyway
For success with each other we like to compete
To be best in the town or be best on the street
We are creatures of ego and creatures of pride
And few of us with second best satisfied
Not rare in any village or city or town
The people who worship money and renown
Though not everyone becomes a millionaire
And the Worldwide famous to say the least rare
We all have our flaws as some do like to say
But who wants to be perfect not me anyway.
