It's not the touch of love

or the sweetness of your gaze

it's not the tone of your voice

or your older age

it's the actions u take

and the things u say

they way i react

when it wasn't meant that way

when u said you were done

i thought you were gone

when you said you've had enough

i took it tough

i take things the wrong way

and end up getting hurt

when it's not meant that way

i'm alone on this earth.
