Not On Time Poem by Shannin Wright

Not On Time

No one is a standard, everyone has their zone
Nor mine, nor yours, can ever be a clone.
It doesn't matter to this or that,
my time is mine, so call me a brat.

Time is all the worlds revolved-
Caught up in life, so involved.
It disappears before our very eyes,
never redone, not even in disguise.

It takes control, and grabs the feet,
little did we know-nothing, did we see.
It teases our mind with a fly by flutter-
the ear starts pounding like a slamming shutter.

It creeps around and loiters my mind,
for, darn this thing we all call time.
Decided we have, much to my dismay,
that time is here forever to stay.

Please give me more, why not the most?
Or take away the limit,
Now to that,
I would TOAST!

Lovely thoughts about time. It disappears before our very eyes and that time is here forever to stay Which is true? Both? Neither? Your poem prods the reader to think. Well done.
