Not Only In The Tombs Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Not Only In The Tombs

Not only in the tombs
And graves and crosses
Not only
Not solely
In the cemetery far wander I
And long
Untied
Unchained
Cross after cross
I know of the cemetery
Inscriptions of each tomb
And pity:
I am the Ghost that roams
The Roaming Ghost
I contain pity
And carry it where the winds
In sweet nooks play
And sad
I carry pity.
