Not Only The Silver Thames
The moon in the dark distant sky
shines on the waves of river Thames
You call her silver Thames!
The moon shines the same way
over the rivers world over
Whether it is Danube or Volga
Mississippi or Missouri
Ganges or Cauvery
or small rivers of you and me
transforms not only the silver Thames
but all of them with hergentle equal smile & shine
into silver river!
