Not So Strange Poem by Tony Devers

Not So Strange

Flames diminish
Fires decline
Time to finish
Off the wine
Seems to me
What used to be
Has lost its shine
So count the cost
Of whats been lost

Time evolves
Fast as light
Earth revolves
Day and night
In the middle
Of a riddle
Out of sight
What moves in space
Must leave a trace

Tectonic plates
Shift and collide
The future waits
Planets elide
Recite the creed
Take what you need
Nature provides
And all things change
That's not so strange
