Not The Gods Poem by Anna Osipova

Not The Gods

Rating: 5.0

It's not the gods who bake the pot,
It's not the gods who eat from it,
It's not the gods who left the Eden,
It's not the gods who'll be restored.
It's not the gods who anthems write,
It's not the gods who sing those tunes,
It's not the gods who are pursued,
It's not the gods who stand in line.
It's not the gods who tread this world
It's not the gods who'll some day pass.
It's not the gods who write such words
In verse. It's not the gods. It's - US!
