Ocean Poem by Anna Osipova

Ocean

Rating: 5.0

The ocean is deep…
The albatross sweeps
Past the waves,
and the days
and the lonely old bays,
as the years
go slowly away.

The ocean is calm
and the seagulls drown
their cries
catching fries
leaving silvery lines
in the skies
when they fly away.

The ocean is clean…
And pelicans lean
to the water that splash
as the fishes dash
for the sake of flash
not to turn into mash.
as the pelicans lash away.
