Not Their Past Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Not Their Past

Not their past

Past reminds
And finds
Repentance
For past acts at once

Not all people can improve
Change style and prove
That they have come off from past doings
Now they are changed and well being

We find their names
In folk stories to claim
Permanent position
With their names in song's recitation

Many robbers have turned saints
Removing their dark pat with new paint
That has brushed off their cruel face
And brought in as scholarly preface

We remember not their past
But how fast
They reformed
And changed

Not Their Past
