Not Wanting It To Be So Poem by Paul Warren

Not Wanting It To Be So

Have you looked to the sky
And pleaded your case on high
Wanting it not to be so
But realising what you already know

For fate will hunt you down
Creeping up without a sound
And taking what it wants for you
Bleeding pleading is what is left to do.
