you leave today
back to the mountains
of your birth and
so we end what friendship
we started
what treasure we found
we give up to air.

i send you words and
money and you shall be gone
away.

from your memories you
end too what service you have
rendered
and from now on you are a
servant no more
and you are as free as the bird
free as a fish
free as a memory that shall no
longer linger
within me.

i am happy with a note in my heart
that you are back with the trees
in the forest
back to your people
back with your newly found lover
start a family
make roots and perhaps sooner be
connected higher to the sky.
