Nothing Is Right. Poem by Kelsey Carson

Nothing Is Right.

Darling, without your love nothing is right.
Bees won't hive and the moon has no light.
Birds can't fly and the stars won't shine,
Unless your love is forever mine.

The sky will turn green and the grass will be blue
If, in this life, I ever lose you.
Fish will drown, dogs and cats won't fight.
Without your precious love, nothing is right.

The deserts will flood and the polar caps melt
If within my heart, your love is not felt.
Snakes will walk and the eagle will lose his sight.
Take your love from me and nothing is right.

Cats will love to swim and dogs climb trees.
Can't you see your love has brought me to my knees?
Darling, I must be in your arms every single night
Or it is a world gone crazy and nothing is right.
