Through all of life
As I turn the pages back
And sort
through and through
as I have lived it
I have felt my heart pulled
And torn
And broken
Longing
Blue on Blue
Silence
Abandonment
Sweet kisses
Soft caresses
Dreams
Memories
Tears
Smiles
Hopes
Softness
Hardness
Disappointment
Laughter
But I realize this so true
Though I fail to understand:
I have never felt anything softer
That touched me more hopefully
More tenderly......than you.
