Nothing Works Poem by Ragy Sandid

Nothing Works

One of those days
When nothing works
And it seems as if
Life is just berserk

The internet just stopped
Like leaves of the clock dried
And time's substance dropped
Leaving me tongue tied

I've been attacked
By some wild quick things
I didn't even give it my back
It grabbed what little joy life brings

I've ignored the interview
Because of superstition
Events just distort your view
And cast that kind of suspicion

Shall I step out
Or shall I stay indoors?
Without a doubt
Neither will change things, if there's more

A day like any other day
But the usual motors stopped functioning
I've got a find a way
To return everything to punctual

It seems like paranormal
Like looking at a sea stand still
One's things is still normal
I've got to pay the bills
