Notre-Dame ~ Notr Dam Poem by Jankovic Zoran

I dreamed a strange dream:

I heard the bell of a church.
Heer franch name Notre-Dame
means Lady from Paris.

There were two characters on the door.
I did not recognize them well
because I did not take the glasses.

The first one spoke mysteriously:
"I am Esmeralda,
A Gypsy who has miraculous power."
The other figure was patiently silent.
I loved it immediately.

I flinched with meaningless dream.
I almost did not fall in love with the goat.

Notr Dam

Sanjao sam čudan san:

Čuo sam zvona jedne crkve.
Njeno francusko ime Notr Dam
znači: Pariška Dama.

Na vratima su stajala dva lika.
Nisam ih dobro prepoznao
jer nisam ponio naočare.

Prvi je govorio zagonetno:
"Ja sam Esmeralda,
Ciganka koja ima čudesnu moć."
Drugi lik je stpljivo ćutao.
Odmah sam ga zavolio.

Trgoh se iz besmislnog sna.
Ja se umalo ne zaljubih u kozu.
