Now I Am Poem by Peya Jakob

Beautiful, a wonderful thing-thats what you are,
Perfect, a complete pair-is what we became.
Gentle, a magical moment-that was our kiss,
Dreamy, enduring- was our moment of bliss.
Now you change-you push me down,
where you once held me up- you have let me drown.
Inadequate-that is what you became,
A fading glow-where once was a burning flame.
Hope lingers here-in the castle we made,
Where i search empty hallways-for parts of you that stayed.
Lost in avenues of your frozen heart-where you tear me apart,
when you shut me in empty rooms-where i try my best not to fall apart.
I stand blindly by you-rising tall for you,
For now i am-in love with you.
