Now I Know Poem by daniel bogogolela

Now I Know

seventeen years on,
new administration,
same problems,
corruption,
scoundrels fleecing taxpayers,
cry when their crimes get media's attention,
right now,
they have come up with a secret plan,
ministers have voted for information bill,
the wicked document,
was passed on what media termed;
a Black Tuesday,
the poor are leaving in abject poverty,
the state no longer fear us-
the masses who voted them to power.
they want to force us to picket,
seems all that they do,
has something to do with succession,
who to vote to hold the highest office-
in the land come 2012,
never consulted motorist when,
they came up with e-tolling plan,
now it seems we are going to be charged-
for speaking our minds,
anybody found in possession of classiefied information,
would serve a maximum prison term of 25 years in prison,
i used wonder why the state decides to ignore factors-
like public interest clause,
now i know,
they want to enrich themselves,
while the rest of us fall deep into pits of debts,
now i know,
i would rather be charged with espionage,
corruption needs to be rooted out!
