Now Look What I Have Done Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Now Look What I Have Done

I'm too old for fairy tales
too old for parlor tricks
circus tour left town
how come these clowns
assume a role to play
but there's no laughter
that shall come my way
guess the jokes on you
I have got colder and my stride
turned winter weather high
warm air rose into the clouds
hit land affecting a few lives
No forecast can calculate
whats to come of the surging tides
Vacate now or you will die
Now look what I have done
i'm too on to rest my crown
too high to be put down
You asked for delicacies to eat
and I'd throw a feast
The kingdom watchers knew of betrayal
and what's to follow will be fatal
and when the watchers go to speak
fall to your knees be put to sleep
I have got colder and my stride
turned winter weather high
warm air rose into the clouds
hit land affecting a few lives
No forecast can calculate
whats to come of the surging tides
Vacate now or you will die
I dont like nobody
who is clinging onto me
I'll cut them off indefinitely
now look what I have done
