Now, Now, New Poem by RIC BASTASA

Now, Now, New

Things change
The seasons constantly
Change
Jeans fade
Roads close in
Parallels meet
Look at you now
Not having taken charity
I do not remember much kindness

I am treating you for a drink
Silently to every sip
I savor your indifference

The world has turned upside
Down

You are now my new found black bat
