Now That I Have You Poem by Katheryn Foley

Now That I Have You

Dark and lonely my nights were frightening,
Spinning and spinning in circles of death,
The makeup round my face never stayed in one place,
Crying and dying from the inside out,
I dread the day cuz soon it will be lights out.

But now I'm riding on clouds,
Cuz I finally have you now,
To hold and to love,
Forever ain't so rough.

Like jack and Jill,
A wonderful world,
Maybe if we make it through,
And only if you show me what to do,
I'll be lifted up high,
Higher than the night sky,
Midnight cool but warm,
All I have is you in my arms.

Love so sweet,
Everything we face,
I love the way we greet,
And I'll never leave this beautiful place.
