Now The Night Is Over Poem by Mohammad Younus

Now The Night Is Over

Now the night is over,
Day draws softly near,
Shadows that stretched
across the sky
Have vanished without a trace,
Dissolving into the formless.

Now light gathers,
And the sun begins to rise
From the deep well of night.
Birds and humans,
Fantastic beasts and gentle creatures,
Bright flowers and fragrant plants,
Branches heavy with sweet fruits—
All awaken.

The divine within them stirs,
Unfolding light upon light,
Granting rest to the weary,
And shelter to the seeking.
With tenderest blessings,
We, children of the divine,
Are called to greet this dawn,
Our eyes forever open.

Grant us visions bright,
Guard travelers bound
Between mountain heights
and deep blue sea.
Comfort each lover who keeps vigil
Through the long, cold night,
Watching Your celestial signs.

Through these hours of silent waiting,
May Your lovers soar and fly,
Held by Your wide, white wings,
Gazing on the world,
Revealed in Your light.

When morning wakens,
Let me rise anew—
Pure, awakened, and enlightened
In Your holy presence.
Glory be to You, my true essence,
And essence of all that You reveal.
