Now we see Adam,
To angels' view displayed,
Made so much higher than angels;
They all together made to prostrate,
To the Caliph of God on earth;
Made in the image of God,
The knower of secrets tells us;
His spirit He blew into him;
Divine breath, that knows no death;
Then sent him He to the earth,
After a short soujorn in the paradise;
Crowned him with glory and honour for e'er,
That by the grace of God he should establish,
The kingdom of God on earth;
He would do His Creator's will,
If he followed His commandments,
That He sends as per need of time;
He may be saved from Satan,
If he follows the guidance;
For it was told to Satan:
You cannot lead astray,
Those who followed my guidance;
All guidance is from Him, sure;
By Him all things live to do His will;
Yes, He made man His Caliph,
But only he who is totally perfect,
Through knowledge and wisdom.
