Numbed.. - Poem by Purple 97 Angeline

Like a murderer slashing his victim
aware of the people grieving their loss
Like a man generating money
through illegal and unappropriate means
An immoral behaviour
deserves nothing less than retribution
Yet time and time again
the sinner commits
all that is against one's principles
What's the point of stubbornly sticking to one's perceptions
only to realise that one's action doesn't portray their mind
A journey of life
witnessing joys & sorrows
clear-mindedness & conflictions
When one's thinkbox
clashes with the blood-pumper
A battle within itself
A war that results in
losing..
and losing itself..
