A recent numismatic haul
Has reveled a rare French coin.
Year of mint,1946.
With a beautiful
Lady of liberty, thereon,
Wearing a laurel wreath.
Her profile, almost Roman!
The obverse shows
A wreath, almost complete.
A rare French coin
Cast from aluminum!
And in conclusion,
Precious and semiprecious metals
In France, were scarce if not sacred.
In 1946. Liberty never felt lighter.
