Nyc Poem by Carey Noelle

Nyc

The city that never sleeps,
the buildings make up the teeth,
the streets are long tongues,
covered in trash,
all people are germs,
The atmosphere is its mind; polluted.
The lake is its saliva; polluted.
But the night sky is its eyes; twinkling.
