O Mother Nature! Poem by Prabhakar Srivastava

O Mother Nature!

I had gone almost very far
And a suffocating fierce war
Where everyone seemed in haste
And no work ever gave any taste

For no work is meant to win
But they're done only to defeat
Even at the cost of heinous sin
Yet mind never asks to retreat

Thanks a lot my stupid mind
No joy in that world you find
You are born but nature's lap
For you is its tranquility cap

People using planes and trains
In hastiness they ruin their brains
They don't know how life ends
Despite seeing departing friends

Oh! Enough now this busy life
Let me bid bye O endless strife!
In infinite serenity i want to drown
For that peace i quit every crown

O Nature thou are my mother indeed!
By thousand hands so kindly thou feed
Thy soothing leaves and colourful life
Can only save me from pollutedknife

I want to lay on thy sandy shores
Where the sun too its nectar pours
O for a feel of intoxicating breeze
Where i lose and no bar may reach

O Mother Nature! allow me to feel trance
From the world's fast and restless ways
I don't want to quit but one more chance
To make me one with shining sun's rays

O Mother Nature!
