Objectiveness, at least to me is a quantifiable thing. Repeatable experiments are used to 'verify. Observing changes what is being observed and minds are not as objective as they think they are

Important never to rely on one's senses alone when trying to determine what the reality of a situation is. Plato emphasized this but Wallace Stevens who is in vogue as a poet now among the academic elite thinks you can rely on your senses alone. A foolish idea, demonstrated by people researching in basic neuroscience to be completely wrong. Another reason why people find so much poetry irrelevant.
