Oblivious Poem by Joel Smith

Oblivious

Rating: 4.8

Excuse my empty head
I awoke in eighty-one and found myself dead
I'm gonna talk
I'm gonna play
feel free to ignore everything i say
walking down the street
floating in the sky
bleeding from the mouth
bleeding from the eye

I love to fight
I wish you were dead
I hate to fight
Just like i said

Quiet while I announce
a polar bear cub an a six story house
silence is golden
I am not
I'm so cool
I'm burning hot
I lift weight
while i wait
for my ego to disintegrate

I don't really know how to describe how I feel about this poem, which is a great thing. Well done.
