Ochanya The Queen Of Light Poem by Adjah Oka

Ochanya The Queen Of Light

Rating: 5.0

The reflection of sunset from the river Benue is dazzling
The starry night sky is amazing
The enchantment of a field of orchids is so pleasing
But there is a beauty that transcends them all
So simple but sublime
Casting a spell on the beholder

Her tender and alluring eyes lights up the night like fireflies
Warm smile that melts a bone diffuses from her gorgeous lips
She wears a glowing milk chocolate skin polished by African Sunshine
Dripping honey in lieu of sweat
Sweet honey one yearns to taste to quench a relentless thirst

The Bohemian waxwing envies her comeliness!
The Common Nightingale sings of her charm
I dare you to look at her you confirmed drunks; let's see if you won't forget the taste of fresh wine!

May her loveliness be refined by complete submission to her designer
May she always belaud virtue over fleeting charm
For then she is truly light, a genuine queen
Happy is the one granted residence in her palace!
To gaze upon her excellence.
