October Poem by Tee'k Aminu

October

I feel butterfly
While we cry softly,
The sun shine brighter than ever
And my skin;
They feel the fever
Of your hands
Leaning closer for entwinement

Dry my sweats
Melt the ice of my heart
And drain off the pain
I feel with a warm
Yet satisfying hugs of yours
That sends me off cloud
And off earth

I feel macho
Yet a figment
Of the sweet month of October
Where nights are cold
And the days are warm
But your presence
Made everything alluring.
