Odd Shaped Sums Poem by James Asher

Odd Shaped Sums

I live in a three sided quadrilateral house,
It has a rhombus shaped door
Sitting squarely; 45 degrees to the floor.
It's crowned with a four sided triangular roof
With five sided octagonal slates, to make water proof.
My garden is an oval shaped rectangle,
Where two dimensional prisms,
Which grow at acute angles of ninety degrees,
Not very tall, unlike trees, they grow as high as my knees.
There's a couple of things to take away
And there are times when I need to share
Take a percentage, I don't care.

When.....

One plus one makes two
1 + 1 = 2
This makes sense to me and you

But, A+B you see
A + B u c
Doesn't make sense to you + me

Now, two time two makes four,
2 x 2 = 4
Very simple, you can't ignore

But, when I see
1/2(5A - 2) = A - 4
I run away, too hard for meeee....

As you see I can't add up
So with this math
I give up! ! !
