Ode To A Hummingbird Cloud Poem by Scott Kimbrough

Ode To A Hummingbird Cloud

Rating: 4.0

As night fell and light grew dim
Amongst the clouds was one of them.
A handsome fury hovering high
Hummingbird cloud in the sky.

He lingered there at end of day
As if he had something to say.
I had to speak a word or two
And bid this hummingbird ado.

As I watched him disappear
My restlessness became quite clear.
It was a cloud that much is true
Up in the evening sky so blue.
