Ode To A Lake Poem by Alexander Thomas

Ode To A Lake

As if walking on water,
I floated into this dream,
Leaving all worldly baggage behind,
Clothed in soft scented robes of silk,
Reflections of ethereal time,
Stir recollections in waves,
Walking along a thin path to infinity,
Guided by the arm of the wind of fate,
Towards a shimmering destiny,
From which golden palaces of sand emerge.
